500+ Upgrades—Our Biggest Laundry Wins!
2024 was a banner year for Turns! We introduced 500+ new features and improvements, each meticulously designed to streamline laundry operations, boost efficiency, and keep customer satisfaction at the forefront. Many of these upgrades stemmed directly from the insightful feedback of our loyal users around the globe—spanning the USA, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the Philippines. We also conducted regular surveys to pinpoint areas for improvement, all with the goal of elevating the laundromat industry.

In March, we introduced the ability to print bag and hanger tags directly from your POS! Boost efficiency, speed up searches, and keep items organized for a smoother laundry experience.

In April, we launched Quick Order in POS for faster service! Speed up your daily laundry tasks and optimize overall efficiency—just access Quick Order via the POS Menu to serve customers in a snap.

Loyalty Feature
In May, we introduced a loyalty program feature that lets you track and redeem points anytime in BM, POS, or the app—attracting more customers and strengthening relationships along the way!

DoorDash Integration Feature
With DoorDash Integration, you gain detailed pickup and delivery data, real-time driver tracking, and simplified homepage navigation for all order types.
WhatsApp Bot Feature
WhatsApp Bot revolutionizes how you handle pickup requests—letting you create them right from WhatsApp for faster, more convenient service.
Driver Fleet App
The Driver Fleet App now allows drivers to capture images at pickup and delivery, collect payments for unpaid orders, and manage these images in both Business Manager and POS. Together, these updates make your day-to-day tasks more efficient and help you stay connected with customers every step of the way.

Mobile Store Geofencing
In July, Turns rolled out three pivotal features that dramatically simplify laundry operations. First, Mobile Store Geofencing automatically matches customers to their nearest store (and price list), ensuring smoother order creation; if their address doesn’t match any store’s geofenced area, they’ll receive a clear error message.
Commercial Invoicing
Our Commercial Invoicing now includes an Auto Pay functionality, allowing business owners to seamlessly charge a customer’s card and send real-time payment status updates to both parties. Finally, Plant Mode streamlines garment tracking at every stage, boosting efficiency and preventing misplaced items along the way.

Refer and Earn Feature
In August, Turns introduced a Refer and Earn feature that rewards customers for spreading the word. Users can now generate a unique referral link right from the app and share it via social media, messaging, or email. Once the referred friend signs up and completes their first paid order, both parties earn wallet credits—boosting loyalty, customer acquisition, and word-of-mouth marketing.

Batch Payment
In September, Turns introduced the Batch Payment feature, giving business owners the power to process multiple orders from a single customer in one seamless transaction. This update significantly streamlines payment management—perfect for customers who prefer settling several orders at once, eliminating the need to handle payments order by order.

Split Order functionality
In October, Turns rolled out two impactful features to supercharge your operations and customer satisfaction. First, Split Order lets you separate urgent garments from the main order, process and deliver them independently, and even accept payments for the split portions with ease—giving your employees the flexibility to handle varying priorities.
Loyalty Feature
The Loyalty Feature in Business Manager, POS, and the Customer Mobile App rewards customers with points they can redeem in-store or through the app. Setting up loyalty parameters is a breeze, and customers can see their points balance right on their receipt. With these updates, Turns helps you streamline order processing while boosting customer engagement and retention.

Assign Employees to Orders
In November, Turns brought you two major upgrades that supercharge both team oversight and customer engagement. First, Order-Based Employee Assignment lets owners assign employees to specific orders and track tips, order counts, and daily productivity right in the Employee Productivity Report—complete with an Admin Attendance Control feature to ensure accurate time tracking.
Personalized Branded Ordering
Next, the newest Personalized Branded Ordering functionality in Business Manager  allows for unique QR codes and custom price lists, letting customers place branded, group-specific orders while simplifying payment collection. These enhancements streamline internal management and create a seamless, personalized ordering experience.

Item-Based Turnaround Time (TAT)
Item-Based TAT allows you to set turnaround times for each individual item, helping to schedule pickups, deliveries, and drop-offs more effectively. These updates streamline day-to-day operations and maintain the high-quality service your customers expect.
Re-Weighing Feature
With the Re-Weighing functionality, business owners can require employees to verify item weights before advancing an order’s status, ensuring precise measurements and improved order accuracy. This feature can be enabled in Location Settings and includes a Re-Weighing History log for easy tracking.
